If Wesley Crusher wrote non fiction... The author (and narrator on the audiobook) is insufferable. He veers from inane chirpyness to weeping on the satellite phone to his wife. He goes on and on about an imagined rivalry with another man making the same journey. He goes off on clumsily linked segues, like when he spills petrol during his journey and the scent, when he should be sorting out the spill, takes him off
