Wow the entire epilogue is only one page. That certainly didn't help me make sense of the rest of the book at all. Not at all what I was hoping this book would be.

This book does not feel much like a biography. Much of the book this far has been spent on all the people in Katherine's life (her children/descendants and John of Gaunt) and on how hey contemporaries viewed her. Now, instead of actually learning about Katherine, we're learning about the identity she created for herself, her coat of arms, etc. This is not the timeline of her interesting life that I was expecting.
