The Hotel California short, by Ellen Hopkins, started out so well, but ended on kind of a dull note. It was less a story inspired by the song, and more the story of the song, which was kind of a bummer.

So, that second story (Miss Atomic Bomb) definitely went in a different direction than I expected.
