To make snake antivenin. Hold a snake behind the jaws over a vessel until it squirts venom through it. Freeze and then dry it. Inject this into horses or sheep in ever-increasing sublethal doses until the animal achieves immunity. Draw the animal's blood and purify the serum which now contains antibodies against the venom and can be used on people.
No mention if the animal suffers or it is just pinpricks.

The tapeworms that can live inside us can be 45' long.A t-rex was 40'.These worms with no mouth, no intestines just a head, segments, excretory (!) and sex organs live and reproduce inside our guts for up to 30 years.The worm has an immature phase in cows and a mature one in people we get it from less than well-done steak and burgers. Would you even want to know you had one if you had no ill effects? Disgusting.

Grasshopper Tacos
2 lb. grasshoppers
2 cloves garlic,
1 lemon salt
2 ripe avocados, mashed 6 tortillas
Roast medium-sized grasshoppers for 10 mins in 350° oven. Toss with garlic, lemon juice, and salt to taste. Spread mashed avocado on tortilla. Sprinkle on grasshoppers to taste.

LOL. I think the biggest difficult in applying this, unless you had a huge flock of surplus sheep or stable of horses, is knowing when "the animal achieves immunity"!

Sheep or horses are injected monthly with a known amount of venom because both these animals have strong immunological responses. After about 18 months they are bled for a week long period and anaethetised when they are. Sheep can give blood like this for 6-8 years. In Australia they use not-very-good race horses who were destined for he knackers yard. During the time the sheep and horses are developing the antibodies and as long as they are producing them they have to be kept healthy and happy. Since each dose of anti-venin can cost up to $2,300 there is plenty of money for keeping the animals in peek condition.
I thought it was interesting as I had imagined the poor horses writhing around on the ground and the person injecting them with venom saying, 'that's enough, he's going to die if we give him anymore' and thereby deciding what a sublethal dose was!
Ah, so not a quick solution. Interesting, though. And not surprising they do it in Aus, where, famously, everything is always trying to kill you (unless you're one of the loons who doesn't believe Australia exists: https://www.theguardian.com/technolog...).
