unnarrator I did the Gretchen-and-Archie show until 3 am, then slept till 12:30. Now sipping water with a berry-flavored teabag in it, and trying to imagine what on earth I can eat today. There has to be something. There just has to be. The ex-Naval officer upstairs tells me people can go for 12 days without eating. I'm on, like, what, day 6 or 7? RIDICULOUS Y'ALL

Moira GRETCHEN AND ARCHIE <333 ....oh dear need to find another emoticon there.

Holy crap! But that's as long as you're hydrating, right? Man. ....wait, would some kind of bland health food store baby food help? Or flavored Pedialytes? Those might help you out electrolyte-wise....

Mir Right, that's 12 days with water but no food.

But that doesn't mean it is a good idea! Should I start describing my mom's black-bottom cupcakes or something to inspire you to eat?!

unnarrator Well, yesterday I had great success, with eight (!) whole pieces of storemade salmon-avocado "sushi" and half a fruit tart (the ex-Naval officer ate the other half, while showing me pictures of himself touring the Pacific). And many jaffa cakes, which came from the Lieutenant's pantry. I went to bed quite victorious.

Now it's tomorrow and tough again...but I had the foresight to buy a rice pudding, so I'm going to try that. I just look forward to a time, if such comes again, when eating is no longer THANKLESS TOIL.

Finished the third G&A book, but need to return it to Allyson to read (bless her for sharing!) before I can start crowing about its melodramatic events, heh heh.
