The story is contrived - Saint’s hatred and cruelty towards Mila and Mila’s continued ‘conflicting’ body and mind are all something very manufactured. It had potential, could be very interesting, but I’m getting tired of the manufactured emotions and contrived attitudes. Plus I just found out that there’s gonna be a third book coming. So no, I’m gonna quit this.

Going into this, I've thought it was a standalone, but I just learnt that there's a cliffy ahead - and I am not going into another damn series, maybe at least until the whole series is out. For now, I'll put this on hold, to be determined later.
