Jung's keynote section, though challenges Freud, still establishes a pretty much mechanistic view of the psyche. There are hints to a more receptive attitude towards the mystic, but the bulk of his theory is only about 30 years' time naturally eroding the cultural hinterland that made happen Freud as he was. I hope the next sections will present more original material.
