I'm adopted and not sure how I feel about. I think I want to write about adoption since there isn't a lot of work in that area by adopted kids who are transracially adopted, transculturally adopted...and adopted by a single parent.

I'm adopted by a single white mother, and not sure how I feel about the book (so far not liking it but let's see what happens). I think my take away so far is that I want to write about adoption since there aren't of books (memoirs) in that area by adopted kids who are transracial, transcultural adopted as adults.
