The Sinking: The final story in this anthology was a little bit of a let down after the others. A girl is tricked into becoming a mermaid, just to be used as a sacrifice, but then it all turns out fine.

Bindings of the Sea: the fifth story in this book carries on from the second, a hundred years in the future. It was interesting to see how things had developed, but it feels as if this story is not yet over.

Tails, you lose: Another kinda creepy story, but very interesting all the same. This one was very short, but really intriguing. A woman finds a mermaid's tail while sorting through the belongings of a dead man.

Bloodscales: That was crazy, I wasn't expecting any horror-type stories in this anthology! Easily my favourite so far! Reminded me of the Midnight Library series I read when I was younger, I loved it.

Brotherhood of the Sea: I was really enjoying this story then they introduced Captain Hook, Smee and Peter and it became, I'm not sure... a Neverland origin story? It was fun all the same, but would have been just as good without the pirates being named.
