I got this book at 4Cs, quite a few years ago. I started reading, but I swear I didn't finish it--my unique bookmarking style was lodged in Chapter 1--yet I am finding underlinings and marginal notes as I read into it. Odd. I have to get a copy of that article from the March 1987 issue of Harper's. Patrick Susskind: Amnesia in Litteris: The Books I have Read (I think). Our library's holdings don't go back that far.
