Sigh. The MCs keep blundering in without watching their backs and it keeps biting them in the rump. Starting to get annoyed with them.

Facepalm. Time for the MCs to do something stupid to further the plot. Which stinks, as the plot was doing just fine on its own. I’m disappointed and hope this isn’t the jump the shark moment of the book.
