I'm having a hard time focusing. The story is not overly structured, or constricted by plot (at all), and because of this, it's real easy to get distracted away from reading and to lose heart. Also, I don't think I ever quite figured out how and why she's started to hang with this new group of friends, if she hasn't talked to them since elementary school (I think). Maybe it will become apparent in the end.
