The (Jem) bar scene is the awkward, white knight scene I have ever read.
Just why?

I was hoping for a good worked out fictional tale about what can happen in a country that has rejected its heritage and descended into degeneracy and decadence.

But sadly reads more like a revenge story of someone who blames everyone else for his faults and misshape...
