zaynab oooo how are you liking it? I considered getting this even though I ride tricycles

sari Its half super basic info about bikes and tools, and half reprints of the zine! I’ve had it for many years and never really dug into it, but I do have two of the original Chainbreakers zines which I read years back. This is less a how-to guide for bikes (which is what I’d definitely like to know about) and more of a personal narrative about why the writer/s really love bikes. While its not what I expected, I do appreciate that the writers are fans of bikes and able to articulate why - its been encouraging me to ride my new one!! :)

hmm, I'm glad I asked cause I was totally going on the impression that it was actually about bike maintenance. I sometimes forget microcosm has a love affair with white folks on bikes narratives lmao. thanks for the update!

sari Lol yes they definitely do! This one is skippable for sure. Still on the lookout for an actual bike maintenance book, will share if I find one!!
