When our faith is precious to us it is easy to see how important it is to others.

The value of the sabbath is in its regularity.
This is because in doing sabbath regularly there is more in it. People who obey the sabbath law seem to have control over time than time controlling them.
Sabbath does what faith best does to us. It changes us. Start small.

Forgiveness is not the antithesis of the Law but it's compliment.

The blessing prayed over food or wine is not to bless the food but the LORD WHO makes the food. This is an interesting note.

The understanding of prayer as merely an obligation makes me understand why GOD was saying HE is against the empty sacrifices that were brought to HIM. Does GOD really want our obligation or our true adoration of HIM in our hearts?

A number of celebrations in Jewish culture are spoken of in this chapter. It is a beautiful insight into the ways of the Israelites here. This is a good chapter. Especially the Passover celebration (Pesach), the dipping of the parsley in salty water and the consumption of apples and honey mixture. Beautiful.
