Gotta love those irregular verbs! As if all the regular ones weren't enough to conjugate...

About halfway through the intermediate book and hence halfway through the three-volume set. Feeling good about my foundation thus far but also starting to feel a bit challenged by this point. But hey, so long as you can order food, ask where the bathroom is, and tell someone the color of your shoes, what more do you really need to know?

"Yo tengo treinta y nueve años" vs. "Yo tengo treinta y nueve anos" — an important distinction, to be sure.

I'm a bit rusty, but glad to see how much I've still retained after years of little practice.

Richard Derus "Pudieramos" is up there with Italian's "telefonerebbero" as the most hilarious sounding conjugation ever.

LOL. If I think too hard about it, telefonerebbero sounds ridiculous even to me. Thankfully, I'm almost sure I've never needed to use it in my entire life and I don't think about conjugations while I'm talking. 😂

Richard Derus It isn't the usual thing to do, is it? I can say the most convoluted sentences in English without a blink...Spanish or Italian, I'm confined to "me go there now?"

Elena Sometimes that's all you need. ;)
