Overall it wasn’t bad. It flowed but felt kind of long too. I liked learning about Rhys family and a soft spot for his sister with autism.

I wish the chart heading included who was speaking and when we transition from the present to past back to present.

I want to say there were some inconsistencies too, but can’t remember specifically. It may have been with characters. But they are so many now so confusion?

I just had a hard time seeing Allison as an adult at time vs. a teenager. Some of her dialogue and reactions reminded me of high school crushes and what you’d write in a diary.

Rhys... ok I am dense lol I had been pronouncing his name Ray/Rays. Thank goodness Bella said Rweesse lol

Multiple misspelling, missing words, grammar errors in the kindle version.

There’s no indication at the beginning of each chapter on who is speaking or a time frame. It’s a little off footing but as long as you have read the other previous novels, including the half novel, you gain your ground fairly quickly.

I also don’t know much about Jake and Allison’s sister Andrea. She is older and only a half sister to Allison, but I don’t remember Jake ever mentioning her.

Paused as I read the half novel before this. Hopefully will comment when I resume

I’m not sure how I feel about Allison and Rhys getting together more officially. I see her as too young - Jakes little sister - and Rhys older by like 7 years or more. She’s in college and he likely would have graduated years before, well kind of with a law degree. Just not the duo I was expecting...
