I would actually. I think the most important thing he explained throughout the book is the process for him and about rewrites for your story. He made that part inspiring and motivating even though we can look at rewrites as tedious and frustrating.

I should say for myself then! :) I can deal with a blank page but with rewrites, I always find my inspiration during random moments throughout the day or days, than just when I sit down with it.
I need to practice writing down my thoughts when they come to me in those moments, and have writing material handy. I think those are the best moments when inspiration strikes. I do write, I am currently writing some short stories, to really practice different POV, styles, and I am writing a epic fantasy right now, and just researched an idea from Panpsychism. That is probably one of my favorite things to do besides writing, is reading and researching different topics that give you information you can build a thought or world with.
I try to write at least 3 times a week and that can be stuff towards my actual fantasy I’m working on, turning my thoughts into philosophical quotes or writing down notes from my research that I will go back to, and then doing exercise writing with my short stories. I have a notebook and sometimes use that or I write long passages using my twitter posts. Usually when something strikes me it will be close to midnight and it’s something in my past, and I’ll write it down. I do need to get better at observing and doing those exercises. Maybe when the public is relatively safe to go out, I’ll try to practice at a coffee shop. Do you ever write down your past experiences?
I have the exact opposite problem, I have a couple people I got to, to talk about my ideas but not as reliable as I would like. So really without taking about my ideas or trying to make sense of them, really stops my progress of writing because I’m always second guessing my ideas or they are not fully formed yet. Like with the idea of panpsychism, I could have everything in my universe have a conscious or basically anything I choose in my world. Something along those lines, but what and how I could fit that into my story I haven’t figured out yet. I would have to research more to get a better handle of the theories and their arguments against and for panpsychism, and then come back to my story and somehow weave that information into my character, narrative, blah blah.
