This essay from an autistic female dominant was about the best thing I’ve read with so many parts that I empathised with from my own experience.

This older essay from Raven with newer sections in italics talks about a really important part of D/s that isn’t often talked about: vulnerable dominants.

There is a 7 page trigger warning regarding abusive past that I did not read in this essay, but, around that? A gorgeous couple and a gorgeous dynamic is described that just made me want to meet Thorn and Railen.

My favourite interview thus far, regarding a Master with DID and the ways they’ve trained their slave to look out for them in medical situations where other people might get injured otherwise. It’s a super compelling read and a viewpoint I’d never before considered.

Again written by the s-type, this one tells of moments of flashbacks from PTSD.

‘Surrender’ is the first essay in this collection written by the s-type in the dynamic and wow it’s powerful. It tells about a powerful feminist woman who chose to serve.

What’s interesting about this one is that it refers to an essay that didn’t seem to exist in the companion anthology. It’s the shortest in this one so far.

I read about this couple in the companion anthology, and the account from Master Flame is just as compelling and memorable.

I *love* the way manic depression is described in this essay. It left me with so much food for thought.
