Getting farther into Coming On Strong and it's just not as fun as Midnight Special, putting its characters way to firmly into standard gender roles and cliches. Not bad, really, but not interesting to me either. This second story will probably drag down the score for the rest of the book...sigh...

Done! The ending of Coming on Strong redeemed it a bit and made the whole thing worth reading. Really fun stuff for those looking for some cheap thrills.

So Midnight Special was great! Lots of steaminess, fun characters, an interesting story; I was impressed. Coming On Strong, on the other hand, while still fun, is less my kind of thing, losing the elements that made Midnight Special fun and not quite recapturing the sexiness. So far. Hopefully it picks up.

So far Midnight special is steamy and hot, fun and rather light. I like it! If it had only a little more plot or some spec elements this would be just what I want out of a romance. As is, it's pretty good.
