Where the author makes Thisbe do stupid stuff (tracking Dominic under false pretenses) was very hard for me to get through, taking several days. But then things got steadily better. However, with anti-aging medication gender reassignment should be easy. So they shouldn't be focused so much on gender.

Already loving this book. Adding to "currently reading" I found it was in my "want to read list" so I skimmed the reviews. A passage cited by a negative review "(she) donned her boots too, tall, taut Humanist boots patterned with a flowing brush-pen landscape, ... any humanist transforms ... when they don the ... boots which stamp each member's signature into the dust of history", I loved.
