Bryson's humour is on par with his disdain for the U.S. National Park Service. He will make you laugh whilst serving eye opening knowledge of the dodgy actions of the NPS ever since its creation in 1916. When Bryson isn't bringing light to the NPS shenanigans, he offers a realistic observation of what it's like to hike through the AT with beautiful highs and dark lows. Truly a wonderful read.
