I read Lolita from 7/18/13-8/6/13, so I put 1Q84 down for three weeks. I love 1Q84, so I didn't put it down due to boredom, and I actually read a few chapters of 1Q84 while reading Lolita, but for the most part it's best to focus on one book at a time.

I want to read this one of these days, when I get time. I just read Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World and really liked it, so I'm interested in reading more from this author.

I definitely recommend 1Q84, even though I'm only halfway through it. I'm really enjoying it a lot.
