Oh man, Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah is pretty awesome. It's actually the first version I remember hearing.

Remakes rarely top the originals, IMHO. That said, I think Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" was better than NIN's...and Trent seemed to agree.
