This stories imagery is wonderful. "Runners" dystopian world comes alive as the story unravels on my Kindles screen. "A black shadow smothering humanity in conflict." Such a way with words Sant has.

I guess I'm a little confused. I don't know if its the British slang or the fact that I still have no idea what a "Runner" is.. Like maybe a run away? I'm not quite sure. An the fact that Sky just up and tells Elijah that she has premonitions like its a normal occurrence.
