I am reading this again since it is the 250th anniversary of the birth of the United States of America. This book by Wilfred McClay is an excellent primer.

"With malice toward none and charity towards all." Don't we need more of that these days! Reading this book has been propitious and uplifting during these tumultuous times when history is being defaced and torn down.
