Echo
Echo is on page 60 of 572
The author is in shambles, his story is breaking apart and he's not sure what the double closed parentheses above him signifies. The reader can read his cry for help in brackets and foot notes, the main story planted firmly in ancient Greece. A+ so far.

Matthias Friedrich I have translated ca. 200 pp. of this novel. But no publisher is willing to take the rose, lol.

Echo Damn shame.. German seems well suited for his coprolalic compound inventions. English translations of this kind of Norwegian work would make me very happy, I would aggressively send them to my internet friends.

Matthias Friedrich Hahaha. I understand that. I was as enthusiastic as you about this novel. But, alas, nobody accepted my translation drafts. Is Norwegian your mother tongue, if I may ask?

Echo Yeah, I've always preferred reading in English so it's taken a while for me to discover much Norwegian literature beyond the obvious.. Any others you'd mention in the same breath as Løding, Jarvoll, Lund?

Matthias Friedrich Leif Høghaug, Ingvild Schade and Tor Ulven.

Echo I picked up Bergverket yesterday actually.. Now, reading up it seem I've been very negligent by not noticing Tor Ulven, he sounds entirely in my wheel house..

Thanks a lot, I've already benefited tremendously from making your acquaintance on this platform :D

Matthias Friedrich Thanks! Me, too! It's always fine to get to know other fellow Løding readers.
