I enjoy Nick Bostrom's papers a lot but I had to pause reading this for a while: I felt like it failed to deliver with his usual clarity.

I insist on finishing it even if I can't seem to appreciate the structure because what I've read still contained many interesting ideas, and I really like the guy. I don't know beans about homicidal AI anyways, so retaining a gross 1% would still be added value to me.
