Reading the exquisitely written "The Umbrella Mender" by Christine Fischer Guy. Not a cliche or trite phrase in site. The writing is beyond superb. Characters are are fully drawn. Events are intriguing. I'm only 4 chapters in, but wow, this is brilliant writing so far, coupled with a story that makes you want to know more. Confess, I was hooked from the amazing prologue.
