I'm only 2% in and already a little irritated at how often the author has reiterated that Tyrcamber's magic element is fire. It is at least three or four times. We get it. He has fire magic. Move on.

Tyrcamber is an elitist. Yikes. For someone who is a knight, he's coming across as not very pleasant. Insulting a man directly to his face "if you'd been tending your fields as is proper you wouldn't have been attacked". I'm going to power through for now, though. We'll see how much of it I can stand.
