Not an easy read, will continue. Still history being regurgitated and it's not very interesting as written.
Some strands are beginning to come together, very slow and tenuous.
Recreating history and not having the characters seem real is a flaw in this type of book. Slow progress. I have just resumed reading after finishing Lord Jim.
