Jos is trying to take care of his 4yr old brother Isaac. He lost his job and their apartment in matter of hours. Their mother died and were on the street. That was until Kip finds them. Now have place to stay and food to eat. The characters from first two books in this too. Mention of characters from Of Love series as well. Kip keeps trying convince Jos he's worth it. Jos meet had fair shake and is skeptical.
