How are you enjoying this? I adored an illustrated condensed version when I was about 8, but embarrassingly I've never read the original!

It’s actually very very good we read it before as a read aloud but now I’m reading it myself — I love love love the characters and plot so far such a great classic. I think you’d enjoy it; it seemed reminiscent of George MacDonald 😉
