This is one of my favorites in the Wayward Children Saga! And the audiobooks are the best way to dive into this books!

I thought the first book was perfect, but this one just blew me away! Does it really get even better? I don’t think I can handle that much awesomeness! 🙈 I haven’t read the audiobooks, but I might check them out when I want to re-read this one!

I haven’t read the fifth book, but I loved the other four! The third one was my favorite! But it’s a saga that only gets better in my opinion! I love how Seanan keeps the story from feeling forced and creates a complex multiverse in short stories! These are the kind of books I imagine reading by a fire to future generations. The new fairy tales but with an extra something. Cannot recommend it enough! ♥️

That’s the perfect way to describe this series, Mari! I think our generation is really starting to swing back around towards the original, darkly gothic fairytales of the past, and I am living for it. What I especially love about these books is that Seanan doesn’t feel the need to pad them out with unnecessary filler — she knows exactly what she wants to convey in her story, and she manages to do it exquisitely in under just two hundred pages. I can’t wait to pick up the next book!

YES! My fantasy-lover-heart is living it’s best time! If you loved the underworld just wait until you meet the goblin market!! It’s the most intrincate world and Seanan depict it perfectly!

I can’t wait!! I’ll jump straight into it once I’ve finished The Hidden Kingdom!
