MWAHAHAHAH! *evil laugh*

It is sooo good, though! 😂 And I love A Time of Courage so much, very curious whether Rhythm of War by Sanderson can top that or not!

I so can not wait to read it! Might even reread The Dragon Republic before I get to it (my brain is confident it remembers enough from Poppy War after reading it twice in less than a year last year). and Courage is def top 3 fave read if not number 1 closely followed by Raven Caller. Been having a weak year so far. Only 4 five-stars, the other 3 five-stars being rereads.

Kristjan Currently reading "The Light of All That Falls" after your recomendation about Licanius Trilogy, been really great epic fantasy (third book is so far best of that trilogy, my first read of what i would call really "epic fantasy", my only gripe being that maybe too epic for my taste but what it is it's very good). After that i will start The Nevernight Chronicle series (people have rated that highly too).

I didn't reread The Dragon Republic, for some reason, it's easier to remember the remaining characters and events from The Dragon Republic. I remember jumping into The Dragon Republic feeling lost at first because I didn't reread The Poppy War, that situation doesn't happen here.

Ravencaller is really good, too! That's why it's on my list. I hope the rest of your reading year will be better! It can be a bit difficult to read during times like these, you're definitely not the only one. I have dropped some books because they weren't grabbing my attention, too! :)

Awesome! I do understand, though, that Licanius can get very complex at times. I don't think I would've enjoyed it that much if I hadn't binged read it. But I'm glad to hear it's still working for you!

I love Nevernight trilogy, I thought I was going to dislike that one, but nope, loved it! :D

Yeah, I reread Poppy War before I got to Dragon Republic, which was a good call bc I had forgotten too much from first time I read it.

Thank you! It's not bc "times like these", more like being unlucky with what books I've read. Personally my life didn't change much bc of the pandemic. We changed some stuff at work but outside work I was being my normal unsocial self.

I hope you'll have better luck with the books you decide to read! It sucks when that streak of bad luck strikes! I'm glad to hear that the pandemic doesn't affect you that much, though! :D

I've had the blog for 2 years now! Note that I mostly only cross post my reviews there, though... xD
