It’s incredibly suspenseful now, and I’m just rolling through it. Probably too many pages left for me to finish tonight, though.

It's a very exciting Thriller - and of course a lot more "Hollywood" than what is going on in the world right now.

I have enjoyed all of the books in the Paul Richter series that I have read, my favourite so far being Foxbat. Pandemic is not a disappointment, so far - though, as I mentioned before, I don”t want any more books with a filovirus featured in them, for a while.

Richter arrives on Crete, to sort things out...not knowing yet what’s really going on. I suspect he’ll be in danger before he even knows why.

Unsurprisingly, it’s getting quite tense. I’m enjoying it...but no more books like this, for a while, when I’m done. Next up for me will be The Red Right Hand, by Joel Townsley Rogers, which is finally being put out in a new edition.

It’s like reading a James Bond novel linked up with stuff that is now - unfortunately - more like daily life. I pick books, these days, by selecting four I have handy, and then using a process that randomly eliminates three - and there’s the next book I read (with option to read one book of my choosing ahead of the winner, but then I MUST read the winner). Pandemic emerged as my next read, so I committed to it.
