I'm getting a bit bored with this. I hope it gets somewhere. I understand the premise that it's boring/wrong to group all of one race into a singular politics. But, what does that mean concretely?

Starting to understand why people like this book. I believe that Reed Jr. is probably doing good with this sort of talk, trying to denounce those who profit off racial politics and invent tautologies.

Intro was long and arduous, Enjoyed the first few essays which dealt with how identity politics is divisive and difficult due to the issues of "standing with the community" and "who are the leaders."

Also very interesting essay on men being the financial masters creating inequality and tension in the new world of women having careers. Gender equality seems related to pay/career equality more than we think.
