daily keats update: today he got so excited about how much shakespeare covers in all his works that he was like “look! you wanna know about snails? shakespeare talks about snails!!!! venus and adonis!”

i have two feelings about john keats:
1. i am so emotionally close to him that he feels more like a friend than a poet who died 200 years ago, and the fact that he had the same relationship with shakespeare as i do with him is heartening and reassuring, and
2. i hate this little bastard so much and he does and says what he wants without consequence
