After all this he rushes back to his family, tells his wife everything with skepticism but he finally convinces her of the situation. With his newfound
financial stability he goes on a joy ride with his family. While in a restaurant a news broadcasting the mysterious death of a woman, Jessica, hinted to John that he wasn't the only one with the glyph.

Ace was introducing a new player to the game when Daekins appears next to him. He starts telling Ace he knows who killed him but, doesn't say the culprit's name. Daekins told Ace he'll allow Ace to kill him. With frustration and fear John kills Daekins and the glyph disappears from his palm.

Ace beforehand activates his amulet creating a powerful forcefield around him and Prof. D. During their battle and despite guildmaster's sue of John's invisibility cloak, he kills him. Ace picks up the sword and starts announcing his position as a new guildmaster and his changes that the guild happily agreed to.

Deane, Gade, and John discuss their plans to kill the guildmaster. And proceeded to wait till the guild's planned Friday raid, and follows them to the Daemons temple. The group realizes that the guildmaster is taming the Daemon, of which, John rushes pass his group and kills the Daemon before being tamed and healed. The guild thunderstruck by Ace's sudden appearance and quickly try to kill him.

John finds a giant room with Thal residing in his seat. After a bit of a dialogue John gets Thal's second sword and his blessing. And the mission to retrieve Thal's Sword of Eternity. To kill Professor D.

After a few days of traveling to the mountain with a huge lake in front, he finds it and starts looking for the entrance. Once nighttime reached shortly after he found a giant rock that caught his attention. John comes up and sees a keyhole. He proceeding opens the door with the key given to him at the ominous tower and enters the heated hallway.

After talking to the wisps he acquires a key, that would lead him to a god that could help with his endeavor.
While reading this it seems John is on the wrong path.

After a bit of discussion and realizing Deane nore Gade are suspects of the betrayal he realizes the guildmasters interest in alchemy and
the sword he lost and assumes whim the prime suspect. John also realized if he wants to kill him and rule the powerful guild he'll need extreme help. As so, he goes to the thin scary spiraling tower, only those who deem themselves worthy can enter.

John realizes that he could actually die after ten days. After this revelation, he prepares himself to fully immerse himself in the game and says goodbye to his family. The family are under the assumption that he found more work
and will be gone for a bit.
