I loved Rose and Wand from this series, but this one's struggling to hold my attention. We keep time-skipping and picking up random points, and I don't get the world background (or the family "annual treasure hunt" thing) very well. Enchanters and sorcerers and a war and "half-magics"? It's all a bit vague. I feel like I'm expected to already know things.
