Yup..need a different style for sure right now..not getting into the second book really either :( when the "reading slump" starts I may even have to go to fantasy/Si-Fi for a total change or mystery..

Indeed. Neither gothics nor rippers are doing it for me ATM, so I'm trying fantasy & a gruesome crime novel. And a schmoopy neo-Regency that I'll probably not like. But it'll work for late-night dumbness, lol.

Sometimes young adult will do the trick too :)

Hm, I do have one YA left on my Leftovers list that I've had for yoinks. Might be a good time to cross it off. I also have some Marvel epic collections that would be a change of pace...
