I’m enjoying the book so far but at 58% Cassandra’s continuous loyalty to her father and continuous drive to get Maksim behind bars is extremely irritating. Maksim isn’t an innocent by no means however his motive is to avenge his dead wife and right hand mans murder cause by Cassandra’s father. I don’t understand her loyalty to her father after he sold her daughter from her hospital bed.
