I could tell immediately how it would be with Phillip so I'm going to try to read it with an open mind. That may be difficult to do if the whole "watching as a total stranger lugs up all your crap to the dorm room while you and your snooty parents stand by and watch" is anything to go by. Oh and we can't forget how Phillip's mom assumed that Jose was the "help".

I know! That annoyed me too, but they do seem nicer after a while... When the kids arrived was when I was kind of lost with the book. I really didn't understand why things worked the way they did. I actually preferred Phillip's parents to him. That's never a very good sign.

Well, at the moment I don't like Phillip OR his parents so I'll just have to see how it all plays out. I hope to knock it out and get it reviewed before the end of the day if possible. I have a couple of others that I'm eager to jump into.

I can understand that. It's not the longest book in the world. But it felt long to me.
