This book is not nearly as sarcastic or informative as it should be. She keeps coming back to her disillusionment with people "welding formulas to impress rather than clarify" (44), but then does the same with her prose. She continually glosses over how things happen to make it fit into her own personal narrative, and uses opaque metaphors rather than explaining actually how things work.
