The idea is interesting, but OMG the verbosity of this! You could easily have cut 200 pages of this book and not lost any story / meaning.

I'm still reading because I want to know what happened to the Parada crew, but this is a snooze fest. 50 percent of what I read could have safely been edited out and we wouldn't have lost anything in the story.
