Fascinating first few pages. I could guess that printing would have been revolutionary but it is far more complex and mind blowing. Detailed history is the only way to do history. Textual criticism didn’t mean very much to me before. Wow! Now I see. Books before printing would also be very important to historians. Just getting started.
