Ummm, I’m already thrown out of the story a bit. 😕 Definitely reading it still, because I love Susi/Susan’s books, but yeah...the blurb references Brody’s “20 year career” as a Ranger and then the next page (page 1) has him saying he’s a Corporal (E4), this is definitely not a good rank to retire on. Sounds like he f*ed up in his career.
