I could watch him forever.
Forever. It sparked a memory of a dream I’d had the night Fox died. I’d been walking hand-in-hand with Leigh, and I was happy.
But now I realized it wasn’t Leigh I had seen myself with.
It was Ash.

Dar: And that's why people have trust issues. It hasn't even been 2 months and she's replaced him.

He pulled me closer and bent down his head, brushing his lips softly against mine. He pressed closer when I didn’t pull away, and the kiss accelerated. I tightened my arms around his neck and he pulled me closer. He ran his hands through my hair, then lifted me off my feet and we ended up on the couch, our lips moving against each other as if they had been made to do it.

Dar: Hay gente que no tiene escrúpulos

The way he said all this made me feel ashamed. I had been labeling Shadow Casters and Light Casters like some sort of racist. I had bought into all the stereotypes without questioning them.

Dar: She finally noticed her shi**y behavior, I was getting tired 🙄

“Not all of them deserve this. Just because the ones you’ve dealt with have been horrible, it doesn’t mean all of them are.” My mother’s image hovered in my thoughts.

Dar: She has been judging them for around 2 books now, I don't get her 🙄

“You can’t take Margot’s testimony as solid proof.”
I knew it. I’d known Margot had broken her promise. Both Leigh and Mr. Grey had been wrong about her.
“Samuel also confirmed it.”
Samuel? That had to be Hoarse’s real name.

Dar: that bi*ch

“Leigh isn’t real. He is a figment of my imagination. A stupid girl who couldn’t let go of the guy she was supposed to be with forever.”
“He was yours?” I barely managed to get the words out.

Dar: I didn't expect that but, anyways, I think she's lying out of envy. And Chastity is so stupid she'll believe it.

Dar: This is sort of boring. It started just fine but nothing is happening. Also, it's irritating to see her having fun when her Anitule and boyfriend are missing for +3 weeks. I mean, she deserves to have fun sometimes but she hasn't done any investigation on her own.
