I’m so glad she added this. There’s always 2 sides to the story and this scene says it all. Gauri didn’t know what she was doing and it wasn’t directly harming anyone but it caused the death of a policeman and his family will never be the same again...like how Udayan’s death affected her, Bela, and Subash.

Interesting how Bela and Udayan have such similarities. I mean they are father daughter but the way it’s affecting Subhash...She wants to join the peace corps :) I love Bela. She got a job on a farm as an agricultural apprentice! Omg.

Gauri... LEFT?! How dare she. She abandoned Bela and Subhash. I get it if she has her problems with Subhash but she has no right abandoning Bela. A child she brought into the world. She raised her poorly yet Bela still loved her and now she just LEFT.

WHAT?! WHAT KIND OF SICK ENDING IS THIS?? “Udayan killed. Come back if you can.” WHAT! EXCUSE ME! MY FAV CHARACTER IS ONCE AGAIN DEAD. HOW DARE YOU JUMPA

wow... Subhash look at you go. I find it so funny that he thinks he has been a shadow his whole life but now he has casual sex with an American woman who is 10 years older than him and a divorcee with a son. Way to go. He basically went against everything his parents would want for him while saying that he allows them to arrange his marriage. Idk if I should feel proud or betrayed. Now I’m just happily confused.

I understand what Guari’s going through. It angers me that we live in a world where fair skin is considered beautiful. But Udayan is just amazing. He waited for her and wasn’t angered at all and he didn’t even watch the movie. He just sat outside. hskdjskdj I love Udayan. Def my kind of guy

love Gauri and I love that she’s studying philosophy. I did not appreciate Udayan’s tone when he said “Now a degree has become meaningless in this country.”
