i guess you had to be there, because for the rest of us who aren't into contemporary romance novellas that really serve as a freequel to a prequel to a series, it just falls flat. & for those saying it modernizes the best parts of 'the great gatsby' - oh hell no, please learn to read, comprehend & appreciate classic literature as it was intended, for the time & audience it was written. 'gossip girl' can suck an egg.
